Ambassador Niels Lorijn attended the opening of a photo exhibition about the Order of Malta at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences. The exhibition, which marks the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and the Republic of Poland, was first shown in October 2025 at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, and showcases the history, humanitarian works and diplomatic engagement of the Order of Malta in Poland and around the world took place.
The ceremony, which took place in the hall of the Collegium Pharmaceuticum, was attended by the university’s Vice Rector, Professor Tomasz Kotwicki, who opened the Exhibition, together with other university authorities and academic staff. The Order of Malta was represented by Ambassador Lorijn, Mr Maciej Koszutski, Vice President of the Polish Association of the Order of Malta, and representatives of the Foundation of Polish Knights of Malta in Poznań.
On the same day, the Deputy Mayor of the City of Poznań, Mr Jędrzej Solarski opened a second photo exhibition about the works of the Order of Malta in Poland in the Free Courtyard of the Voivodeship Office in Poznań.
